The Chocolate Whiskey is finished with a smooth dark chocolate ganache and the La Dolce Vita is iced with a mascarpone frosting with fine ribbons of citrus peel. Both are immensely popular with brides.
Our new White Ganache Wedding Cakes are an incredible addition to our menu. Hand-iced in beautiful white chocolate with our favourite Chocolate Whiskey Cake or La Dolce Vita underneath. Perfection! Can't decide between the two? No problem, we can now also offer mixed layer cakes in this style.

White Ganache Wedding Cakes
Rocket Kitchen now has its iconic Chocolate Whiskey Cake and delicious La Dolce Vita Cake available for your wedding coated in a dreamy white chocolate ganache. The White Ganached Wedding Cakes are perfect for romantic weddings in warmer weather. Keeping things so simple on your big day as they do not need to be refrigerated.
A popular request is to have layers in different flavours which we can now offer for the first time. Choose your own combination of Chocolate Whiskey and La Dolce Vita.
Designed to be simply finished with fresh flowers or ribbon you need not sacrifice freshness and flavour for a truly elegant cake.
Rocket Kitchens White Chocolate Ganache Wedding Cakes are available in 7 size combinations and we welcome mixing the flavour layers between the two types to your specifications. Cakes are presented beautifully stacked on your choice of either a silver or gold specialty cake board. We do not decorate the cakes with flowers and recommend you consult your florist.
We are not able to courier stacked cakes. Please advise us if you are travelling long distances, out of Auckland or are collecting the cake the day before you need it as this will effect when the cake is stacked.

Chocolate Whiskey Stacked Cakes
Rocket Kitchens iconic Chocolate Whiskey Cake makes a stunning choice for your wedding cake. Fresh, dark and delicious, infused with whiskey syrup and coated in a rich chocolate ganache this is a modern alternative to old-fashioned almond iced cakes.
Designed to be simply decorated with fresh flowers and ribbon, our Chocolate Whiskey Cake is an elegant statement in style. Choose from our selection of ribbons or supply your own and we will affix it for you.
As we are not floral specialists we recommend you have your wedding florist organise the decoration of your cake.We have a range of cake size combinations for you to choose from in two or three tiers, however we do not recommend going to four tiers. Your cake is presented stacked on a gold or silver specialty cake board. Please note that any messages, livewire or ribbons incur additional charges. Please see "decoration" heading for pricing
All cakes must be prepaid for at the time of ordering and we require at least three days notice for the Chocolate Whiskey Stacked Cakes. Please advise us if you are traveling very far out of Auckland or if you intend to collect the cake the day before the wedding as this effects when the cake is stacked.
We also have a range of specially decorated stacked birthday cakes which have proved a huge hit. These are only available in the Chocolate Whiskey flavour and can be found under "Birthday Cakes".

La Dolce Vita OR Carrot & Pineapple Stacked Cakes
Rocket Kitchens delightful La Dolce Vita Cake or Carrot and Pineapple Cake make a romantic choice for your wedding cake.
The La Dolce Vita is a stunning sweet orange cake with a citrus mascarpone frosting that has lovely ribbons of peel through it. Our luscious Carrot and Pineapple also has a mascarpone cream cheese icing and is a modern alternative to old-fashioned almond iced cakes. Because these cakes are both iced in a fresh cream cheese icing they must be kept refrigerated, especially in warmer months. If you are planning to have the cake out on display for a long period we suggest you choose one of our White Chocolate Ganache Wedding Cakes as they do not need to be chilled.

Wedding and Celebration Cake Decoration
Rocket Kitchen specialises in devine tasting cakes so we prefer to keep decorations to a simple classic look.
A silver or gold board is complimentary with your stacked cake and we can also provide ribbons to match for an additional charge. For ribbon prices please see "decoration" heading in the above menu. Alternatively you can supply your own ribbon for us to affix for you free of charge.
We do not supply or decorate with fresh flowers but as we are in Ponsonby we are surrounded by some of Aucklands best florists who are familiar with our cakes.
