Level 2 FAQs

Is Rocket Kitchen open at Alert Level 2?

Yes, Rocket Kitchen is open Tuesday to Saturday from 8am to 4pm. Please note: we are closed Sunday and Monday.


What do you have on offer?

We have a fantastic range of cabinet food with breakfast, lunch and snack options available. You can view our sample menu here. We will also be making coffee using Allpress beans, with a range of smoothies and cold drinks available.

Browse our range of Frozen Meals which are all made on site. We also have a fantastic range of frozen desserts available, perfect for a treat or celebration. These are available for takeaway from our store.


Can I order a cake for pick up or delivery?

Following the impact of Covid-19, Rocket Kitchen will no longer be offering whole fresh cakes. We do have a range of frozen desserts which are available in store.


Can I dine in at Rocket Kitchen?

During Alert Level 2, Rocket Kitchen will be takeaway only. We will not have seating available inside or outside. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.


How are you following Level 2 restrictions?

During Level 2, Rocket Kitchen will be open for takeaway only. We have implemented a one-way system in our store with makers to ensure customers and staff are always 1 meter apart. Please ensure that you enter the store and follow this system to the right. You will need to sign our register when you enter the store, in line with government rules for contact tracing. We have also implemented PayWave instore for contactless payment.

We will have hand sanitizer available for customer use as you enter the store. Our staff will be following the best hygiene practices.

Can I place a pre-order with you?

Yes, you are welcome to place a pre-order via phone. Please call our team on 09 360 8834 and inform them of your preferred pick up time.  


Can I use my keep cup for a coffee?

Unfortunately, we will not be accepting Keep Cups in Alert Level 2 due to health and safety reasons. We hope to welcome them back soon.


Can I place an online order for delivery?

During Alert Level 2 our online store will be closed. We are working on some exciting changes coming very soon.


Can I place a phone order for delivery?

You can place an order via phone or email. Call our team directly on 09 360 8834 or email orders@rocketkitchen.co.nz and one of our lovely team will get back to you ASAP.


Can I place a catering order?

During Alert Level 2 Rocket Kitchen will not be offering catering.
